We had our new logo reveal done in 3D! This 20 second video took 50 hours to render!

Dude, y'all seriously need a faster processor if that took fifty hours!!! What did you do it on? A Mac? You need a Matrox card. For real!

Ever done 3D Modeling? All footage was computer generated ...the time is actually normal.
All of our Creative Arts department runs on Macs. My fastest computer is a Mac Pro tower with 8 cores....running at 3.2 Ghz
Now my team didn't do this video. We actually outsourced it to a 3D Modeling guy in town. 3D work is very processor intensive. He did it on his Mac Book Pro which is a 2 core Duo processor runnng at 2.6 GHz. So we may have been able to render it faster on our tower.
Here in Dallas where there are several movie/animation shops, there are companies set up to just to render stuff like this with 20 Mac Towers tied together. They can do it faster but it cost a pretty penny.
