This morning we heard Michael Olson, Marty MaGehee, and worked through
the "5 Things That Keep Us Up at Night" in break-out sessions. Late
afternoon were analyzing car designs at this museum.

Linda Chambless

I found out late yesterday that we lost my step-mother, Linda.  Here is a recent picture.  Ironically, we were gathering in this picture for the memorial service of Linda's father just 7 months ago.  My brother Todd and my Dad stand behind Linda and I.  She was a wonderful wife to my Dad, mother to Brad, Lisa, Todd, Jennifer and I and a caring grandmother to many. 

It was unexpected.  I'm still not sure what happened.  The only thing I DO know is where she is now.  There is no doubt that her relationship with Christ and the fruits of her life proved her love for the Lord.

Awesome time of worship with Jared Anderson, Don Poythress, Kari Jobe and Paul Baloche.  Here's some of the music I remember:  Paul sang Hosanna, You Gave Your Life Away, and Your Name.  Kari sang Beautiful, Revelation Song, and one other she wrote.  Don sang an awesome song which I can't remember the title but it is on the video I'll post soon.  He's a prolific Christian & Country writer (yes, you can do both).  Jared led off with Amazed and also shared his new song, Pleasing to You. 

We had a tornado come through with sirens, lighting and wind.  It shut the worship down for a bit but ended up being a great after we started again.  Even when the weather knocked power out, worship continued.

Another eventful night as we missed the bus ride back to the hotel.  I Twittered help and got it.  Jared Anderson has a rent-a-pimp car and was willing to give us a ride back.  Pat Callahan was on the way to help us out.  Thanks Pat for looking out for us.  And thanks to all for lifting me and my family up in prayer.  I got news tonight that my step-mother, Linda, has passed away.  I appreciate the prayers and just remember my Dad as well.
